This week, LinkedIn released this infographic, outlining the highlights of their latest list of the top 100 in-demand employers.

The catalogue was compiled through interactions of the more than 175 million professionals and businesses on the professional social network; calculated by the number of visits and follows of a group’s page.

Tech companies, including software companies—no surprise—ranked highest on the list. Google was at the top, proving to be the most attractive company for marketing specialists; software and computer engineers; students and IT techs.

Google was followed by Apple and Microsoft respectively, and Facebook was fourth on the list. Tech companies like Twitter and Salesforce were also among the top 20 global companies.

Surprisingly, smaller companies had a strong presence on the list, where half of the 100 companies were with fewer than 7,000 employees.

According to the infographic, “Bigger isn’t always better.”

The infographic also divided the data by both business type and region. The full list of companies can be found on LinkedIn’s website.
